Who we are
The Virginia Mortgage Lenders Association (VMLA) is a trade association composed of mortgage lenders, brokers and affiliated industry associates. The association is dedicated to the preservation and improvement of the mortgage lending system. The VMLA Board of Directors encourages its members to use sound and ethical business practices in the making, marketing and servicing of mortgage loans. We promise to keep our members informed of changes in mortgage laws and pending legislation that affect the real estate and mortgage business.

Changing of the seasons always brings rejuvenation, reorganization and sometimes relaxation. This year at the 2011 VMLA Convention we promise to deliver all that and more: Rise Above! Come be a part of our annual meeting and get invaluable information related to the real estate finance profession. Your participation gives you assess to education, legislative and networking opportunities from all across the state. Guest Speaker David Stevens, CEO from the Mortgage Bankers Association (MBA), will be attending to present important data on the mortgage industry.
