2010 Convention and Trade Show

The programming for 2010 was excellent! The mortgage industry is changing every day, and new regulations and educational requirements are being instituted. This critical event informed mortgage lenders across the state of these important changes. Some of the highlights of the annual convention included two educational sessions on Fraud Detection and Evaluating Self-Employed Borrowers; general sessions on what is currently happening in Richmond & Washington DC; an economic forecast focusing on Virginia as well as the United States; and breakout sessions on using social media to market your business and how to deal with short sales. All this and we had the biggest exhibitor trade show ever!
